DeepInterpolation denoising systematically increases the participation ratio of population responses across all sampled visual areas, consistent with recovery of shared variance previously buried under independent photon and read-noise. The magnitude of PR increase is expected to be largest in lower-SNR higher-order areas (VISam, VISpm) where baseline noise fraction is higher.
