Description
Six independent EuropePMC and PubMed queries across ticks 18–20 targeting SPP1/GPNMB microglia co-occurrence with mature oligodendrocyte (MOL) depletion across Braak stages in human snRNA-seq data returned zero on-point results. No study in SEA-AD, ROSMAP, or Mathys 2023 directly documents a temporal or causal coupling between MGnD/DAM microglia expansion (SPP1, GPNMB, ITGAX, LPL) and MOL loss (MBP, PLP1, MOG) across Braak I–VI in a within-donor compositional framework. This gap blocks direct evidence-linking to hypothesis 7a198e28 and motivates a cross-lagged Dirichlet regression + scVI+Milo trajectory proposal in SEA-AD replicated in ROSMAP.
