Description
The abstract reveals that importin α1/β has anti-aggregation activity that is disrupted when TDP-43 binding is impaired, but the molecular mechanism of this protective function is not explained. Understanding this could reveal new therapeutic targets for preventing TDP-43 aggregation in sporadic ALS.
