Description

BTK is canonically associated with B-cell receptor signaling and immunodeficiency, yet this study shows it mediates neuroinflammation in diabetic brain injury. The mechanistic basis for BTK’s role in CNS inflammation and its interaction with TLR4 in neurons/microglia remains unexplained.
