Description

Both conditional knockout models show increased oligodendroglial cell density, yet only the Emx1 model produces clear seizures while Olig2 knockout shows abnormal EEG without seizures. The mechanistic basis for this oligodendroglial hyperplasia and its relationship to epileptogenesis remains unclear.
